The Triquetra is an ancient symbol with a wide variety of meanings. In modern usage, it is most often used to represent the Maiden, Mother, and Crone, or the three forms of the Goddess. It can also be used to represent the Mind, Body, and Spirit and, in some practice, has even been used as a Christian symbol of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Taking the form of a silver triangle, with its three points united in an unending knot, the purpose is generally the same, and it represents a unity of purpose and power between all things, making it a powerful symbol to decorate your altar, particularly when combined with an intricate, unending pattern of Celtic knots. The whole altar cloth is crafted of 100% rayon, and measures approximately 36″ by 36″.
